Dear Residents and Local Businesses,
Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with:
PATROLS Officers have been carrying out patrols of the Henley areas on foot and in vehicles. We have been paying particular attention to locations that have recently experienced an increase in crime and anti-social behaviour, such as Hillmorton Road and Crosspoint Business Park.
VEHICLE CRIME We are continuing to see vehicle crime in the Henley area. We have had two theft of vehicles.
We have had a vehicle stolen between 00:00 on 24/09/25 and 13:00 on 25/09/25 from Henley Road, near to Wyken Croft. If you heard or saw anything suspicious, please contact us on 101 quoting 20/390536/25.
We have had a second vehicle stolen between 00:25 and 00:32 on 27/09/25 from Woodway Lane whereby a male has used a relay device to gain entry to the vehicle and steal it from the driveway. If you have heard or saw anything suspicious or would like to give us further information, please contact us on 101 quoting 20/390154/25.
There has also been an increase in keyless vehicles being stolen alongside vehicles being broken into and tools stolen from within. We recommend that owners of these vehicles use a steering wheel lock to prevent against theft and to remove any tools from their vehicles when the vehicle is not in use.
